Job Title: HVAC Installer Level I

Install heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, indoor air quality products, mini-splits, boilers, and various other industry related products for both residential and commercial applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for safely removing old HVAC equipment from job site.
  • Assisting with installation of new HVAC system and use correct tools.
  • Can successfully start and test equipment installed.
  • Accurately running pipe and duct systems through job site.
  • Ability to professionally communicate with clients and co-workers.
  • Continue on-going education through courses and training.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by team leader.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Knowledge of basic HVAC systems installation.
  • Able to make an educated quick decision.
  • Knowing how to understand technical data, such as temperature and pressure.
  • Understanding of refrigeration cycles.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
  • Knowledge/ability to learn installation processes for digitally operated HVAC systems containing programmable controls.
  • Able to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to read, understand, follow safety procedures.
  • Work involves exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull required of objects up to 50 pounds.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED and/or trade school certification.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in a related field, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Universal Refrigeration Licenses (working towards)

Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Technician Level I

Performs routine repairs and maintenance on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, indoor air quality products, mini-splits, boilers, and various other industry related products for both residential and commercial applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and adjustments on HVAC equipment.
  • Execute clean and checks on installed equipment for both heating and cooling seasons.
  • Able to identify any model of HVAC issue and quickly find a solution to the problem Restano team is available for field support and troubleshooting.
  • Perform daily maintenance and/or service calls.
  • Identify sources of equipment failures, assess parts with correct tools, and construct & deconstruct parts.
  • Assisting with installation of new HVAC system and use correct tools.
  • Can successfully start and test equipment installed.
  • Ability to professionally communicate with clients and co-workers.
  • Continue on-going education through courses and training.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by team leader.
